Necrosis
“Necrosis”, exhibited at Brunswick Street Gallery 2010 and FortyFive Downstairs 2011, is a narrative and exploration of our human existence.
Necrosis (from the Greek, “dead”, “death, the stage of dying, the act of killing”) is the premature death of cells and living tissue.
Necrosis is caused by factors external to the cell or tissue, such as infection, toxins, or trauma.
From the moment of birth, we begin to die.
