“Matto Lucas’ free exhibition Katabasis just opened and is a must see this February.
For those unfamiliar with Lucas’ creations, they are known for their confronting nature.
Katabasis will combine Lucas’ most recent works over the last three years and will explore the notion of identity through manipulating and deconstructing images.
Lucas is also known for getting heavily involved in the art community, evident through his many exhibitions as well as through his new project – Melbourne Art Review.
This new venture is an online source, which discusses various Melbourne-based artists and their works.”
