Testing Grounds, behind Arts Centre Melbourne, hosts an evening of acoustic music from Chris Watts, projection art from Alison Bennett and sculpture from Ara Dolatian. Testing Grounds is a temporary and free outdoor art space. It is a place for experimentation and testing ideas, for public gatherings and educational opportunities in the heart of Melbourne’s arts precinct. Testing Grounds is a place for new works of art and creative ideas to be developed and shared. We have Regular events and activities including free film screenings, public workshops, exhibitions, music and an artist-in-residence program.
