FLORID at FortyFive Downstairs

Florid is a group exhibition curated by Clare McFarlane and Andrew Nicholls that brings 8 multi-disciplinary WA based artists to fortyfivedownstairs.
Participating artists will be: Olga Cironis, Thea Costantino, Mel Dare, Eva Fernandez, Susan Flavell, Ryan Nazzari, Clare McFarlane & Andrew Nicholls.
Florid will comprise of recent works by these mid-career artists drawing upon histories of decoration in order to explore subjectivity, identity, colonialism and/or nationalism. This exhibition will include sculpture, photography, painting, ceramic and drawing.
